We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet connections. The technician will be responsible for ensuring high-quality network performance, resolving technical issues, and supporting customer installations.
- ✅ Key Responsibilities
Install and configure fiber optic cables and equipment
Perform fiber splicing, termination, and testing
Troubleshoot internet connectivity and signal issues
Conduct site surveys and cable routing
Maintain network infrastructure and perform repairs
Ensure safety standards and technical compliance
Provide basic customer support during installation
✅ Required Skills / Specifications
Knowledge of fiber optic installation and splicing
Experience with OTDR, power meter, and testing tools
Basic networking knowledge (routers, switches, ONU/ONT devices)
Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
Diploma/Certification in Telecom, Electrical, or related field preferred
Previous ISP/telecom experience is an advantage
